Now that national healthcare has been passed, it’s just a matter of time before Democrats turn their sites towards passing Cap and Tax legislation. Here are a few resources for someone wanting to educate themselves on the myth of Global Warming.
Dr. Philip Lowell is an independent consulting chemical engineer, currently working on design and development projects related to a proprietary natural gas dehydration process using a pressure-temperature swing adsorption process. He has taught chemical engineering thermodynamics and unit operations at the University of Texas at Austin and has participated in the process design of chemical plants and refineries and was the process engineer for an ethanolamines production unit.

According to a Lawrence Journal-World article this evening, the Kansas Supreme Court has moved to shut down wind turbines in the Kansas Flint Hills.
Whether or not wind power should be sought in Kansas is still up for debate. It is clear that wind power is unreliable and can not be used for base power. Further, wind power has been proven to be extremely expensive without government (taxpayer) subsidies.
But what can certainly be questioned is why wind power is such a wonderful thing for western Kansas but untouchable for eastern Kansas counties. (more…)
