In Lawrence, I witnessed from my perch on the bus, an elderly blind man with a white cane trying to cross the street and his time had run out and cars zoomed around him as he was stranded in the center.

Now, when you are on the KU campus as soon as a pedestrian's foot touches the pedestrian crossing you must slam on your brakes because the pedestrians on campus will not even look to see if you are stopping.

What I learned about Lawrence from my four years at KU, make sure you wear tennis shoes and can easily run one mile. Hide your money and keys in a backpack, do not wear jewelry and if you are a woman NEVER go out at night on campus unless you are with others.

So my advice to Main-Administrator is this, even though you have free wireless connection, make sure you DO NOT RETIRE IN LAWRENCE unless you are politically connected to the left.
